R.I.P. Eraño "Ka Erdy" Manalo, INC leader!
Eraño "Ka Erdy" Manalo, the executive minister of the largest religious sect in the country, Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC), died Monday. He was 84.
Manalo passed away at 3:53 p.m. in his home in San Juan. His body lies in state at the INC's central temple in Tandang Sora, Quezon City.
He died of cardio-pulmunary arrest, he is reportedly suffering from prostate cancer.
Manalo took the over adminstration of the religious organization after the death of his father, Felix Manalo, in April 12, 1963.
He was instrumental in the expansion of the church interationally, which has millions of members nationwide and across the globe.
